Inspect Heat Strips

Heat strips should be inspected for:

  • All fuse-links good
  • Amp draw
  • Insulators between strips and rack
  • Limit switches
  • Visual inspection of the strip for any imperfections from age

Heat strips are relatively easy to check and should be checked yearly before the heating season begins.
